Bombo's Art

Star Man - Dude! I like this one the best. Mostly because it turned out so good.

Pharaoh Man - This is the one that got me started on the obscenely thin limb kick. Looks purty, though!

Crash Man - Heehee. He's in a drunken rage. Or a sober rage. They're quite the same. Silly me forgot to draw in areas to put yellow, so when I was coloring, he ended up yellow-less. I like the way the drill came out. Nice and shiny. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny...

Elec Man - That waistline? It's not there in the paper version. I screwed up AGAIN and had to add it in on the computer. Bet you wouldn't have known if I hadn't told you.

Quick Man - Sassy!

Flash Man - Not my best, but it's ok. The joke is that Flash can stop time, and he's staring at his watch, wondering what the time really is. Or something. I forget...

Quint - A winner is Quint. In case you are not a Mega Man fan, that big red thing on his back is Sakugarne, his jackhammer/pogostick contraption.

Flame Man - I tell ya, Flame Man's gotta be the coolest looking Robot Master ever. I have countless pages of binder paper with him on it. Fun to draw!

Gemini Man - Originally, he was going to have his holographic twin peeking over his shoulder, and fading slowly into nothing. But that woulda been too much of a pain in the ass to color, so I did it like this instead.

Crash Man - Well, an experiment, if you will. I was kinda 'eh' about the previous Crash, so I did this one different. More realistic. Well, as realistic as a robot that shoots bombs with drills from his wrists can be.

Fire Man - Yes, originally a man in a yellow rainslicker with a dalmatian and an axe, Capcom decided "Naw, that's too silly. Let's give him flamethrowers for hands, and for a scalp!" I futzed the shoulderpads a bit, but I think the contrast and the glowing effect on the rim of his helmet more than make up for it.
